Beginning in FY 2017, NRCS is encouraging their state teams to identify new landscapes and focal species as future Working Lands for Wildlife (WLFW) priorities. Join NRCS Chief Jason Weller and National WLFW lead Galon Hall for a teleconference at 2 p.m. EST next Monday, June 20 to learn more about this exciting opportunity and how to submit proposals for new landscapes/species (deadline for proposals is Aug. 31). The attached flyer has all the teleconference details.
As a primer, check out the new WLFW magazine which highlights the ‘recipe for success’ and shares many inspiring stories of private landowners and partners from across the country who have already put WLFW to work in their backyards… with incredible success!
